The F keys are the separae row along the top of the keyboard. The F
stands for Function.
They are programmed to have different functions, and in different programs
and operating systems they have different functions.
In Microsoft Windows and Applications, these rules generally apply:

F2 Rename
F3 Search
F4 Dropdown menu
F5 Refresh
F6 Highlights address bar
F7 Spell Check

F10 Highlight the menus (same as Alt)
